Since its establishment, our 200‑bed hospital has evolved into a modern, fully equipped medical center specializing in obstetric, gynecological, and women’s health services. Our mission is to deliver high‑quality, compassionate care to every patient—regardless of financial background—ensuring that no woman is denied treatment due to socioeconomic barriers.
Location: Situated in Koohi Goth Deh Landhi, Bin Qasim Town Karachi,
Capacity: The facility was established as a 200-bed hospital to provide maternal and child health 24/7 services to the coastal community.
Services: Provides free surgical repair, rehabilitation, and midwifery training to women suffering from obstetric fistula.
Regional Hub: The center trains doctors from across Asia (including Afghanistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh) to manage and repair obstetric fistulas.
Accessing Care: Patients can connect with specialists through booking platforms or directly visit the hospital for free treatment
The hospital’s mission is not only to eliminate the stigma surrounding women’s health but also to provide comprehensive care and education to women in underdeveloped and remote areas.

At Abu Zafar Institute of Medical Sciences, we make education accessible for all women so they can achieve their life goals while being independent. We implement modern education techniques and curricula affiliated with the Pakistan Nursing Council and Sindh Medica Faculty to facilitate underprivileged students by offering them stipends and scholarships.
Hostel Facility for Female Students
The students of Koohi Goth Midwifery School are full-time resident of the institute.
They reside in the hostel facility which is available within the premises of Koohi Goth Hospital.
Extra-curricular Activities
We believe in making education easy for all. Our premises have a well-equipped tennis court and a swimming pool to facilitate our students’ staying active while focusing on their studies. These activities help our students relax, which in turn makes studies more enjoyable.
